Hello, my name is Rheina Sabado, currently an Architecture student at Citrus College. I was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from Northview High School in 2023 before starting my journey as an engineering student at Citrus College that same year. I had always loved math, as it usually came easily to me. While I enjoyed math, there was also a struggle that came with it during the time I was an engineering student, and I had to balance it all out through creative outlets, such as crocheting and cross-stitching. Along with my experiences in a STEM group, this led me to pursue architecture as a field that combines both technical and creative problem-solving.

 

Since the start of my Architecture journey, I have found an interest in interior architecture and 3D modeling-driven design. I have also learned a great deal of 3D modelling in Rhino and SketchUp, photo editing in Adobe Photoshop, and drafting in AutoCAD. Other skills I've learned and am continuing to expand on are teamwork, reliability, communication, and problem-solving.

 

My top three goals I would like to achieve are to get my Architecture AS, an internship at a firm, and to become a licensed architect.
